Purpose
Medline is looking for a dynamic and hardworking Junior European Product Manager to strengthen our Respiratory and Anaesthesia divisions. In this role, you will support the Senior European Product Manager to drive sales growth and profitability of your product categories. You will work with various departments, such as sales, marketing, operations, inventory management, and finance to identify new business opportunities, launch new products, increase profitability of existing products, provide expertise on your product line, and create tools to promote your business in all European markets. This position is based in our European headquarters in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
How can you help us?
- Define and specify market requirements for existing and future products through conducting market research and analysis, while also comparing and evaluating competitor strategies.
- Under the supervision of the Senior Product Manager, oversee all aspects of the product line’s life cycle, including strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
- Develop training programmes, sales tools and marketing materials for the sales team.
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns for new product launches or repositioning of existing products.
- Support the development of marketing campaigns for new launches or product repositioning.
- Deliver product training sessions to onboard new employees.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to support the growth of new product categories.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on divisional performance and strategy.
- Execute all necessary tasks to boost profits and achieve financial and corporate growth goals.
Are you our match?
- Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, business management, marketing or healthcare studies
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, large corporate organisation
- Previous experience or internship in a marketing, product management or business function is a plus
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a distinct advantage.
- Language proficiency in English (C1) and at least one additional European language is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with the ability to articulate ideas and support them with sound arguments.
- Excellent presentation skills for cross-functional audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering solutions
- Ability and willingness to travel within Europe, potentially up to 20% of the time
- Assertive and positive attitude with a desire to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
