Purpose
In order to place our medical devices on the European market, the quality department ensures that all products manufactured and/or distributed by Medline bear the CE mark. The quality department also coordinates the post-marketing quality assurance systemin Europe and develops and/or implements the appropriate procedures, policies and systems to conduct activities in compliance with the law. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS) and for the environmental health and safety of Medline’s distribution centres in Piacenza, Italy and others warehouses in Europe. This leadership position will be a key member of the site’s management team, and will contribute to the overall growth of Medline’s distribution business throughout Europe.
How can you help us?
- Implementation and maintenance of a QMS that complies with the recognised standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, as well as MDR - Medline Italy and other warehouses [WR2]
- Support in implementing and complying with all environmental, health and safety requirements related to storage and distribution, including support of the ISO 14001 certification
- Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and deviation management to drive continuous improvement
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, manufacturing, regulatory, and quality teams to align warehouse and distribution practices with overall company objectives
- Train warehouse and distribution staff on quality procedures, regulatory standards, and best practices
Are you a match?
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related scientific field
- Experience in quality work in distribution sites for medical device or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards
- Strong understanding of quality assurance practices, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices of warehouse & distribution operations
- Very good knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Independent, structured and result-oriented way of working
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Internal Auditor Training is preferred
