Purpose
Clinical Sales works with all of Medline’s products and has a strong influence on the success of sales growth in the designated region (the Nordics and Baltics). The Clinical Sales position works with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction through direct contact with distributors and hospitals. The purpose of this position is to improve the product portfolio and understand customer needs and future expectations of the product. In this role, you will help increase the profitability of the organisation through clinical training, and by supporting product reviews with customers. The Clinical Sales position collects and analyses financial data and is able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
You will report to the Business Development Manager, Nordics and Baltics.
How can you help us?
- Facilitate market-share growth through consistently gathering and sharing insights (market, customer or/and competitor). You must be an expert on the market, including knowing all our customers.
- Support sales team to achieve overall sales growth targets.
- Educate customers on the use and clinical application of products.
- Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide product demonstrations and clinical support during product trials.
- Analyse the competitive marketplace and industry trends.
- Collect first-hand customer feedback on products and use this information for improvement.
- Drive local campaigns/portfolio marketing support in partnership with the local marketing manager to ensure campaign KPIs are met.
- Act as portfolio lead on local and national tenders; provide relevant portfolio information in a timely manner to enable the business meet tender submission time frames and maximise success.
- Manage product tests and trials in collaboration with distributors.
- Build strong relationship with our partners in the operating theatre.
Are you our match?
- Prior experience in an operating theatre environment or as a nurse is highly desirable
- Approach problem-solving with an analytical mindset, demonstrating assertiveness, initiative, and an ability to see tasks through to completion
- Experience in the medical devices sector is a plus
- Prior experience in sales, marketing, or product management is considered an advantage
- Exhibit excellent organisational, planning, communication (written and verbal), and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (at least 90%) with a requirement for a category B driving license.
