ESG Manager
Play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing our company's ESG strategy.

Location: Arnhem, The Netherlands
We are looking for a full-time Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) manager to join our team. This role is preferably based at our European Headquarters in Arnhem, The Netherlands. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing our company's ESG strategy and be responsible for ensuring that our business operations align with the highest standards of environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and governance practices. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder engagement.
How can you help us?
1. ESG strategy development:
- Support in the development and implementation of a comprehensive ESG strategy for Europe aligned with the company's values, goals, and industry practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business plans, products, and practices.
2. Environmental stewardship:
- Oversee environmental initiatives, identifying opportunities for resource efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint reduction.
- Support in the annual Green House Gas (GHG) Inventory, following the GHG protocol.
- Support our product divisions in implementation of product level life-cycle analysis.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to environmental sustainability.
3. Social responsibility:
- Work closely with our supplier and supply chain team to monitor and report on social impact metrics, ensuring alignment with company values and industry standards.
- Support engagement with key partners regarding our charitable giving initiatives
- Drive initiatives that enhance social responsibility, including community engagement, and employee well-being.
4. Governance oversight:
- Maintain strong governance frameworks, including ethical business practices, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to ESG-related reporting requirements including Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
5. Reporting & stakeholder engagement:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and communities, to communicate ESG initiatives and gather feedback.
- Build and maintain relationships with ESG rating agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and publish regular ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with investors, customers, and other stakeholders on ESG matters.
Are you our match?
- Proven experience (2 to 5 years) in ESG management or a related role, with an understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and levels of the organisation.
- Fluency in English, an additional European language is a plus.
