Web Content and SEO Specialist
We are looking for a Web Content and SEO Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, posting, and updating content on our various websites. You will also maintain and clean up outdated content. As the main point of contact and gatekeeper for any content changes on our websites, you will coordinate promotional campaigns. This exciting role involves enhancing the company’s organic search performance by implementing SEO best practices.
How can you help us?
Web content management:
- Create, develop, manage, and maintain website content for all Medline EMEA's digital platforms in collaboration with various stakeholders such as communications, product managers, and ESG teams.
- Partner with local marketing teams to ensure translations adhere to our website guidelines.
- Work closely with the web designer to craft innovative web pages and user journeys.
- Bring creative ideas to life by developing engaging and user-friendly web content.
- Serve as the main point of contact for any content changes on our websites.
Campaign coordination:
- Collaborate with local marketing representatives to build effective web campaigns.
- Coordinate efforts between yourself, the web designer, and CRM to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously across different markets and languages.
Analytics & reporting:
- Supervise website tracking and performance metrics to ensure accurate data and provide insightful reports.
- Use web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio to improve site navigation and enhance user experience.
SEO strategy:
- Develop effective content and technical SEO strategies to improve web traffic.
- Regularly perform thorough keyword research and work with tools like GA4, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog. Partner with an SEO agency as needed.
- Collaborate with web developers to execute technical SEO improvements.
Collaboration:
- Assist with testing and ensuring compliance of websites.
- Lead projects for releasing content, coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Collaborate with the Web Design team and Communications team to improve accessibility, efficiency, usability, and the overall user experience.
Are you our match?
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred degrees: web, communications, marketing, business, computer science, or other relevant fields.
- Proficiency in implementing websites using a Content Management System (CMS); experience with Magento is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex, technical, and jargon-heavy content into web-appropriate formats for both technical and non-technical end users.
- Proficiency in web copywriting and website implementation.
- Expertise in executing on-page and off-page SEO activities, including keyword research and optimising metadata and sitemaps.
- Knowledge of Compliance and RGPD rules.
- Familiarity with relevant tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, AlsoAsked, and Google Search Console.
- Proficiency in web analytics and tracking tools such as Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and GTM.
- Ability to interpret data and use insights to inform strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to support usability and website communication objectives.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to follow standards, best practices, and demonstrate good judgment when implementing web content.
- Excellent English proficiency; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
