Web Strategist
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven digital strategist to coordinate our websites and other digital mediums, as well as assist in achieving specific company goals. The digital strategist will be tasked with analysing user experience data, initiating digital projects, reporting on planned and current strategies, leading effective web marketing strategies, and ensuring that projects are executed within the determined timeframe and budget. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in developing our brand awareness and enhancing user engagement on our websites.
Ideal candidates for this position should be innovative, and skilled in web and multimedia platforms.
How can you help us?
Defining and managing goals and objectives:
- Understanding the organisation’s goals and objectives, and translating these into actionable digital strategies.
- Defining KPIs (short and long term).
- Building and gatekeeping the web-related roadmap.
- Evaluating and implementing improvements to the digital strategy.
Analysing data:
- Using tools such as Looker Studio and GA4, to gather insights and report on website performance, user behaviour, and key metrics. Then using this data to inform strategic decisions.
- Analysing and reporting on digital campaigns.
- Analysing user experience data.
Content and optimisation strategy:
- Support the web content and SEO specialist to enhance SEO strategies, and develop content strategies that align with the company’s goals and target audience.
Project management:
- Skilled in project management to get web projects from ideation to completion.
- Understanding strategies to prioritise projects and tasks.
Collaboration and Communication:
- You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including communications, IT, design, and product divisions, to ensure cohesive and effective web strategies.
- Work with local markets to develop tailored web strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the management team on all website-related topics, engaging with various stakeholders to address their needs and concerns.
Keeping up with current trends:
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Applying this knowledge to improve web strategies and performance.
Are you our match?
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, web development, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in web/digital marketing, or a related role.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., GA4), SEO tools, CMS platforms (e.g., Magento), and basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing web projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate with a team, engaging and aligning them with the strategic vision.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative web solutions.
- Deadline driven.
- Broad knowledge of digital practices.
- Professional proficiency in English, any other European language is a plus.
