Purpose
The Product Marketing Senior Specialist is contributing for the success of products in the market (product positioning, messaging and go-to-market planning) and coordinating Divisional marketing activities to reach Divisions development and growth targets.
This role works closely with the Product Managers, the Marketing Operations Manager and the ESG team to delivering compelling and differentiated product messaging to position Medline effectively vs. the competition and help Division hitting their business goals.
The Senior Specialist understands our target clients, their pain points and proactively acts to translate that into effective messages to be communicated via a matrix of marketing collaterals and channels to increase products visibility for internal stakeholders, business partners and clients.
This role is also responsible for initiating innovative programs to grow sales force engagement rates, sales opportunities and customer adoption.
Activities & Responsibilities
- Product Champion: work closely with the Product Managers to understand the strategic direction of Divisions and tangibly support their go-to-market roadmap (ie. creation of marketing collaterals, etc)
- Project Management: Manage projects and define priorities in coordination with Divisions VPs; execute operational tasks as needed to initiate and finish projects
- Product Messaging: support Product Manager in positioning their portfolio and in identifying the most effective messaging to be used in the marketing collaterals.
- Sales Enablement: create a portfolio of materials to enable the sales teams at all levels (boasting Sales Team knowledge of the product via eLearning and Challenger Training in collaboration with Learning Department; providing Sales reps with a tool kit to pitch the product)
- GTM: in coordination with Divisions, work closely with regional marketing and sales teams to make sure their field plans are infused with rich knowledge about the products, their USPs and their positioning.
- Marketing: Identify, develop and/or manage the creation of a variety of marketing items as needed to fuel sales and marketing success (ie. internal and external campaigns, brochures, videos, website landing pages, translations, social media, annual events…)
- Data Consistency: Ensure data consistency into PIM/The Source.
Job Requirements
- Strong product marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or healthcare related studies.
- At least 5-8 years of marketing, sales, project management experience (preferably in the healthcare industry)
- Operates at a tactical and strategic level, hands-on attitude and approach.
- Excellent people and project management skills to interact with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in working with Design and Communication teams to develop compelling collaterals.
- Solid presentation and communication skills (written and verbal); the ability to articulate ideas and back them up with sound arguments.
- Ability to operate in a diverse, fast-moving, fast-growing, ever-changing environment.
- Can-do and problemsolving attitude, a true “doer”
- Ability to work successfully in interdisciplinary teams and in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English – an additional European language is a plus
