*We are moving from our current HQ Arnhem office (next to train station Arnhem Centraal) to a new office in central Utrecht in the summer of 2025.

Purpose
Medline offers a unique opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to manage product portfolios as if it were their own business. As a Junior Product Manager for Europe in the ReadyCare section, you will be tasked with developing, managing and driving the profitability of your product portfolio under supervision of your manager. You will develop strategic collaborations with various business units across the organization, including sales, marketing, operations and our supply chain.
Activities & Responsibilities
- Manage product categories that comprise the ReadyCare division to optimise profits and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.
- Develop market assessments and launch plans for new products to drive sales and optimise profits.
- Negotiate with current suppliers to drive better costing and increase capacity to support division growth, with the support of the sourcing department
- Work continuously on portfolio rationalisation to streamline our offer and increase supply efficiency.
- Work as a transversal team leader during the product development phase, with respect to product launch/change procedures.
- Benchmark competition (product portfolio, pricing, market share etc.) and support the sales team in formulating customer offers.
- Develop training programmes and marketing collaterals to support the sales team.
- Work with account managers to understand customers' needs and the competitive landscape.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Healthcare;
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales and/or product management, preferably in the healthcare industry;
- Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal resources;
- Ability to skilfully analyse financial data;
- Strong presentation and communication skills;
- A passion for accuracy and getting details right;
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in any other European language is advantageous;
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
- Personal accountability and a passion to succeed;
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other Medline locations in Europe.
