Sales Manager - Patient Care
You will lead our Patient Care sales team with the goal of growing our current customer base and strengthen the reach of our portfolio.
The Sales team at Medline is central for our entire organisation, and as Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing and directing our Patient Care business for the country, with particular focus on designing and implementing sales force organisation, and with the scope to increase sales outside the operating theatre and strengthen the reach and impact of our patient care range (respiratory, urology, anaesthesia, vascular access...).
How can you help us?
According to the indications and strategy of the company, as Sales Manager – Patient Care, you will:
- Manage all regions assigned to maximise sales revenue and meet corporate objectives, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible.
- Analyse sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
- Develop a business plan (which includes revenue forecast, pricing, and basic marketing plans), implement sales strategies and ensures that operational plans are aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate company resources to ensures efficient and stable sales achievements.
- Provide quarterly results assessment of sales.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director and product divisions to define and implement the best product promotion strategy to improve market share in all product lines.
- Create and foster a strong and stable relationship with current customers and secure and develop new potential accounts.
- Has significant contact with customers and dealers at a strategic level, also with direct contacts and meetings.
- Monitor activity through a disciplined sequence of regular meetings to examine sales trends, best practices and pain points.
- Ensure that all sales representative activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the Medline International code of Conduct.
- Work accordingly to the Challenger Sales methodology.
Are you our match?
- At least 5 years of experience in sales account management within a medical sales environment.
- Practical knowledge of medical decision-making processes and understand of bidding strategies.
- Customer and result oriented.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a sales team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and to make constructive/logical arguments to convince interlocutors.
- Capability to build effective relationships with colleagues.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise/plan tasks.
- IT literate and knowledge of IT tools (mainly the Microsoft Office suite).
- Fluent in Italian and English.
