Location: Arnhem / Utrecht, Netherlands*
*We are moving from our current HQ Arnhem office (next to train station Arnhem Centraal) to a new office in central Utrecht in the summer of 2025.

Purpose
The Marketing and Product Copywriter [English] is an expert copywriter with a strategic understanding of how to craft messages to fit various platforms and formats for maximum impact. This role requires strong sub-editing and proof-reading skills and a grounding in basic project management principles. The Marketing and Product Copywriter will also need to build relationships across the Medline business to understand how editorial will help realize KPIs.
Activities and responsibilities
The following activities and responsibilities are considered as the core of this position:
Product Marketing Communication
- Collaborate with product / category owners to explore new formats for product communications that contribute to increased conversion rates
- Develop and execute editorial marketing campaigns to promote the Medline product range and drive the company’s internal and external business objectives
- Create top-class promotional materials for the Medline product range
- Own and manage the execution of all external customer communications
Internal Brand Promotion
- Plan and execute internal campaigns to support sales activities and promotions
- Write shortform UX copy material to promote marketing activities on Internal channels
Brand Management
- Help to develop and maintain the Medline brand identity across the EU region.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all external Marcom channels in line with Medline Style Guide and Tone of Voice requirements
ESG
- Communicate Medline's ESG initiatives, commitments and achievements to customers and potential clients as part of sales proposals, etc.
- Create ESG blog posts, socials, etc. for external and internal audiences
Editing and Quality Control
- Own processes to ensure that all Medline MarCom communications are sub-edited and published to the highest standards of quality
- Sub-edit and proof-read content submissions from across the Medline business
- Support quality control checks for all social media content
Collaboration
- Lead projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution
- Work in partnership with national Marketing Managers to keep across developments in their markets and divisions
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (or an equivalent educational traineeship) or equivalent work experience;
- At least 2 years of experience with communications, marketing and event-planning tasks in an international environment;
- Thorough knowledge of different communications styles and channels;
- An extreme attention to detail and superior organizational and operational skills;
- Creative thinking and problem solving abilities;
- Ability to work well with others and understand your own work in the larger organizational context;
- Robust written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, changing, highly demanding environment;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize your work;
- Affinity with the medical industry and/or knowledge about European healthcare systems is a plus.
