For our location in Kleve or Arnhem/ Utrecht* we are looking for
Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
*We are moving from our current HQ Arnhem office (next to train station Arnhem Centraal) to a new office in central Utrecht in the summer of 2025.
How can you help us?
- Continuously maintain our EU cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and high availability
- Participate in architecture and design session related to infrastructure.
- Proactively resolve and perform root cause analysis for critical issues related to Medline cloud or EU container platform
- Work closely with Medline infrastructure and application teams to implement and manage secure, scalable, repeatable, and reliable infrastructure environments
- Collaborate with teams within IS organization to implement cloud and/or hybrid systems that support business objectives
- Create and update technical standards documentation
Are you our match?
- Deep working knowledge of container-based applications running on Azure Kubernetes Service or on-premise
- 5 years of technical experience in design, system installations, administration, and/or support of business systems
- Strong working knowledge of Terraform Cloud for Business
- Experience implementing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure on the Azure Cloud Platform
- Experience implements, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure Cloud Platform.
- Experience building and supporting mission-critical infrastructure for critical applications
- Advanced troubleshooting skills to drive to root cause
- Experience with Windows and Linux Server Systems
- Experience with log collection tools and analysis, as well as infrastructure performance monitoring tools and optimization practices like the Prometheus stack, Splunk
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and routing
- Experience with Rancher is a plus
- Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and concepts - Azure devops, Jenkins, Artifactory
- The ability to see the “big picture” and scope requirements to the organization’s direction
- Motivated with a strong desire to deliver exceptional results in a quickly growing company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
