Junior Product Specialist

Purpose
The (Regional) Jr Product Specialist is responsible for growth in the sales and profitability of the assigned products within the region. This role adapts the product value proposition to local market needs and educates the local sales team on effective product selling strategies. The Junior Product Specialist also acts as a subject-matter expert during customer interactions and internal training sessions.
Activities and responsibilities
- Maximizes sales and profitability of the product portfolio.
- Is an expert on the market, consistently gathering and sharing market/customer/competitor insights to facilitate market-share growth with the local team.
- Closely cooperates with product divisions providing timely, and complete market analyses to support new product development opportunities, by consistently gathering insights (market/customer/competitor).
- Develops and delivers local product plan with clear measurable KPIs.
- Drives local campaigns/portfolio marketing support in partnership with the local marketing manager to ensure campaign KPIs are met.
- Leads portfolio-related input for tenders, ensuring accurate and timely information to maximize tender success rates
- Accompanies the sales team to sales meetings as the subject-matter expert and to support all sales-related activities.
- Ensure the sales team has up-to-date knowledge of products.
- Manages product tests and trials in cooperation with clinical sales.
- Manages and supports new product launches in the region.
Is responsible for local marketing content across all communication channelsIs flexible and willing to travel extensively across the EMED Nordics region
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing and/or healthcare
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing and/or product management, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Able to forge strong relationships in commercial and clinical settings
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Solid time management skills, able to set priorities, manage multiple projects and plan tasks accordingly
- Able to forge strong relationships and work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, changing, highly demanding environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with English proficiency at B2 to C1 level
- Office hybrid working model required
- Willing and able to travel regularly within the region
- Flexible, entrepreneurial mindset to adapt to a dynamic, multi-country environment.
