Business Partner/Analyst - Manufacturing FP&A (EU)

Role reports to: Senior Manager/ Director FP&A
Location: Partizanske (SK) with regular EU travel (FR, SK, NL)
Purpose
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive individual to serve as a Strategic Financial Partner to our local Finance and Manufacturing (Assembly) stakeholders. This role is pivotal in developing and standardizing comprehensive financial performance metrics, providing in-depth analytical insights into manufacturing activities and critical future investments. You will be instrumental in delivering strategic decision-support to the Senior Manager/Director FP&A and key leadership across our European operations.
Activities & Responsibilities
• Development of a standardized reporting framework in conjunction with the Sr. Manager/ Director FP&A, including further support in maturing the framework over time
• Analyze financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis combined with consolidated performance reporting covering all the Assembly/ Manufacturing locations (FR, SK, NL, MT)
• Lead the monthly financial review with the local Manufacturing finance teams on performance together with other areas within FP&A (Divisional and offshore team)
• Participate in the development and further support of standardized planning templates for Manufacturing, with key inputs necessary from the local finance teams (e.g. long-range plan, reforecasts and annual budget)
• Supporting decision-making across investment cases as well as other ad-hoc projects related to the Assembly/Manufacturing sites (e.g. expansions, new investments, M&A/ PMI activities as well as scenario-analysis), including developing and maintaining complex models to support the analysis
• Close collaboration with key finance and business stakeholders across the total organization including Controlling as well as FP&A (Divisional and Operations & Supply-chain domains)
• Drive continuous improvement by creating new analyses, innovating current metrics and reporting
Qualifications and work experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or Accounting
• Advanced Finance degree/ MBA preferred
• At least 5 years of financial planning, reporting and analysis experience.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in supporting and/or leading strategic decision-making and goal-setting initiatives.
• Experience in supporting and/or leading business improvement initiatives.
• Experience working within an international team
Additional:
• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Strong communication skills (English required, French a strong plus) and ability to influence
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT). Experience with PowerBI, SQL, SAP or Tableau a plus
• Prior experience in healthcare and/or at Medline a plus
• Hybrid work model: 3 days remote
• Business travel necessary (mainly Europe)
