Account Manager
in Belgium and Luxembourg - would you like to join us on this journey?
Purpose
You’ll be responsible for driving sales of our full product portfolio across Luxembourg and the provinces of Liège and Namur in Belgium, managing existing customer relationships while growing revenue and margins. A key focus of the role includes overseeing tenders, partnerships and framework agreements.
Closely working with buyers, nurses, pharmacists and doctors across hospital settings, your role involves product presentations and trials in operating theatres and various departments, including intensive care units. You’ll also represent Medline at industry conferences.
How can you help us?
• Promote and sell the full product range
• Manage and retain client portfolio by developing strong relationships
• Grow revenue and margins
• Monitor client accounts and set individual targets
• Optimize the strategic approach to key accounts in cooperation with the sales director and product managers
• Handle tenders and price offers with market, product divisions and sales management departments
• Keep clients informed about Medline’s products and innovations, proactively respond to their needs
• Conduct product presentations and trials in operating theatres, hospital departments, and ICUs
• Participate in product launches
• Implement marketing strategies
• Organise symposiums, conferences, and meetings to promote product knowledge among users
• Regular reporting
• Promote the Medline brand image to clients
Are you a match?
• A nursing degree (mandatory), experience in an operating theatre is a strong plus
• A few years of experience in the medical sector and/or in selling medical devices/products within hospitals
• Entreprenurial, customer-oriented go-getter personality with strong negotiation skills and a persuasive approach
• Proficiency in English in addition to French
