Purpose
The Manufacturing Controller is responsible for the preparation month end closing, year end closing and analysis of financial results and reporting. The role also involves leading value-adding projects focused on various implementations and business growth initiatives. Senior Controller acts as the QAD key user, manages the annual and long-term budgeting process, STD calculation and conducts ad hoc financial analysis.
How can you help us?
- Participate in Month and Year-End Closes - drive accuracy and prevent cost impacts during crucial financial closing cycles.
- Strategic Financial Analysis - provide deep financial and business analysis, including cost sensitivity of manufacturing, inventory, and overhead scenarios, to inform critical decisions.
- QAD System key user - serve as the primary QAD user for all manufacturing-related issues and projects, ensuring optimal system utilization.
- Manage and lead the annual and long-term (LT) budgeting process for Manufacturing (MAS), acting as a central figure for budget development and oversight.
- Performance Insight & Variance Control - (Budget vs. Actual vs. Forecast) and proactively prevent budget variances through insightful analysis of production costs and broader business trends.
- Costing & STD processing
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Implementation of internal controls.
- KPI Oversight - provide guidance on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product lines, including their preparation and detailed analysis.
- Project Cost Management - oversee large projects to ensure costs remain strictly within allocated budgets.
- Process Optimization - drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate or simplify reporting and controlling processes.
- Problem Resolution & Ad Hoc Analysis - conduct focused ad hoc analyses to resolve problematic items and processes.
- Audit Support - provide comprehensive support for both internal and external audits.
Are you a match?
- Education: A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of dedicated experience in manufacturing controlling.
- Logical and analytical skills, coupled with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Communication skills and good command of English (B2), enabling clear and effective collaboration.
- MS Office: Excel - advanced
- Proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach to work and a team player with a sense of discretion
