Purpose
You will work on a broad range of legal business, operational and performance management related tasks, interacting with colleagues and vendors building effective client relationships.
How can you help us?
- Enhance operational efficiency by employing critical thinking and creativity to optimize business processes that the Legal team is or should be involved in, and develop (AI based) solutions to address repetitive and/or administrative tasks
- Coordinate mandatory legal entity tasks (a/o annual compliance) and KYC requests through selected vendors
- Steer outside counsel management, by creating record of preferred law firms, engagements, keep track on legal spend, and provide updates and trend analysis to management
- Support litigation management, by creating record of pending litigation and threatened claims, and quarterly alignment with finance colleagues on accruals and progress
- Support trademark management, act as liaison with internal customer, identify trademark protection needs and support in infringement claims
- Create legal awareness trainings and steer roll out
- Track project progress, ensuring that outputs are accurate and meet established performance metrics
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Support due diligence in M&A projects
Are you a match?
- At least 5 years of experience in legal operations in a corporate legal department or Big4
- A bachelor’s degree in law
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with an exceptional ability to multi-task
- Legal design skills preferred

The successful candidate will be able to:
- Synthesize multiple sources of information, apply conceptual models, recognize patterns and draw and defend conclusions
- Interpret business requirements and propose improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness
- Deliver precise and complete high-quality output, as well as identify and lead targeted change initiatives
- Collaborate effectively across the Medline organization in and outside EMEA
- Challenge and question assumptions and propose alternative and bold solutions
- Craft a presentation story line and create compelling visuals to demonstrate proposed solutions and analyses.
