Purpose
Reporting to the director of engineering, the project manager will be responsible for leading the development of medical devices and cosmetic products. This role involves managing all aspects of product development projects, from initiation through to completion. The R&D project manager will lead cross-functional teams - including Design & development, quality, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and product divisions - to ensure successful project execution in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
How can you help us?
- Manage assigned projects by balancing corporate priorities and ensuring alignment across functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives
- Lead the product development process using an iterative Agile project management framework
- Independently oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment between project deliverables and divisional goals
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, including objectives, budgets, scope, timelines, and projected completion dates. Translate strategic goals into actionable tasks
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential delays or cost overruns and implement contingency plans
- Foster team morale and engagement through transparent, consistent communication and proactive issue resolution
- Prepare technical justifications and compile data summaries to support product claims and regulatory submissions
Are you a match?
- Proven experience in project management; PMP certification is required
- Solid knowledge of medical device requirements, design controls and risk assessments
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organisation
- Fluent in English
.(written and spoken) - Willingness to travel mainly in Europe (up to 10%)
