Project Manager OPS (m/w/d)
We are looking for a Project Manager to contribute to project management goals and work proactively on achieving further sustainable operational excellence within areas of operations. The operations department at Medline combines different departments, such as warehousing, transportation and several supporting functions (Operational Excellence, Business Intelligence). You will be part of a team of Project Managers within OPS, reporting to the Director OPS Programs and Partnerships for Europe. You will work closely with Operations and other Medline functional teams to lead and ensure your projects are delivered on time, on budget and with the expected quality. The role is based in our offices in Germany, Kleve. We also offer the opportunity to work remotely according to our policy.
How can you help us?
Leading Projects within PMO Operations
- Support, lead and manage projects that support the development of Medline’s warehousing and Service landscape in Europe
- Plan, coordinate and manage multiple process improvement projects that are diverse in scale and scope involving colleagues from multiple departments and disciplines
- Be accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, project documentation, governance and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. All of this takes place within the framework of achieving our company's goals and achieving our vision
- Act as project management expert within the Operations department
- Collaborate with Medline’s PMO department to manage projects according to Medline’s PMO guidelines
Support Projects of other departments
- Be the contact person for projects managed by other departments in order to stream line collaboration
- Agree and deliver to milestones in accordance to project plans agreed with stakeholders and Project Manager
- Continually working to move projects to a successful completion in line with agreed timescales and deliverables
Are you our match?
- Work experiences of minimum 5 Years
- Track record of skills and first responsibilities in Projects
- Proven work experience in either Operations, Warehousing or Transportation
- Strong process knowledge in Operations, Warehousing and/or Transportation
- Experienced in using business applications (e.g. ERP QAD, WMS, TMS)
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Open-minded person, able to support and motivate people, creating commitment within a team
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
- Ability to communicate and interact with senior management and all organizational levels
- Priorities management
- Rigorous, autonomous and well organized
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered as a plus
