Purpose
We are looking for a senior-level colleague to join our team as IT Functional Consultant. In this role, you will be key in understanding our business processes and requirements and translating them into effective technology solutions. You will partner with business colleagues in projects and daily activities. You can specialise in various domains, including ERP, APS, low/no-code collaboration and sales solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimisation of technology to meet our business needs.

Business Collaboration
- Engage with business colleagues to understand their business processes, objectives, and challenges.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis and translate business needs into functional application solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients as a trusted advisor.
- Actively participate in projects/programmes as a main technology partner.
Application Configuration and Customization
- Configure and customise functional applications to align with client requirements.
Implement and optimise applications, based on industry’s best practices and client-specific needs. - Provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains, using standard functionality.
Training and Support
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on the functionality of applications.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to address application-related issues.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure a smooth transition to new applications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, customisations, and workflows.
- Develop user guides and training materials for clients.
- Continuous Improvement.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and updates in functional applications.
- Proactively identify opportunities for application enhancements and process improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement necessary updates.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of implemented applications.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address possible any discrepancies or issues.
Are you a match?
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field (or strong business knowledge degree with proven IT knowledge).
- Proven experience as an IT Functional Supply Chain Consultant or in a similar role.
- Senior level: someone who has deep knowledge in business processes, can lead complex projects and act as a project manager for smaller projects.
- Ability to train less experienced colleagues.
- Knowledge of and experience with Advanced Planning System (APS).
- Knowledge of and experience with APS Kinaxis Maestro is a plus.
- Experience with QAD or SAP ERP is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies and industry best practices.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum.
- Strong written and verbal English language skills.
