Senior Manager for Manufacturing Capital Project & Process Improvement Europe

Purpose
The EU Manufacturing Capital Project & Process Improvement Senior Manager is responsible for managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects and driving process improvements through cross-functional teams in alignment with organizational strategy and goals. This role supports the manufacturing organization by implementing efficient solutions that enhance performance and productivity in a fast-growing environment. The position reports to the European Manufacturing Director and collaborates closely with the US counterpart. It is a strategic role focused on project management of major investments and optimization of manufacturing processes. The ultimate objective is to improve operational performance and efficiency within an international setting.
How can you help us?
Leading Projects & Teams
- Managing a team of Project Managers and BI specialists across multiple EU facilities (Slovakia, France, Malta, Netherlands…).
 - Providing strategic leadership for kitting facilities, including capacity planning, infrastructure systems, and space optimization.
 - Driving large-scale capital projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and best-in-class standards.
 - Coordinating closely with IT, PMO, and all impacted departments to ensure seamless execution.
 - Building strong relationships with internal and external partners, negotiating vendor agreements for maximum value.
 - Collaborating with consultants, contractors, and public entities to plan and monitor all aspects of project scope.
 
Driving Operational Excellence
- Defining and executing a technology roadmap for engineering and automation.
 - Identifying inefficiencies and implementing smart manufacturing solutions to boost productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
 - Deploying continuous improvement methodologies and maintaining accurate process documentation in QMS systems.
 - Monitoring performance and ensuring all processes meet compliance and quality standards.
 
Delivering Business Insights
- Defining and tracking key performance metrics for your area of responsibility.
 - Enhancing dashboards, tools, and reports to make them more user-friendly and efficient.
 - Analyzing data regularly to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
 - Reporting progress and impact to management teams.
 - Ensuring easy access to clean, standardized data through continuous improvement initiatives.
 
Are you a match?
We’re looking for a strategic leader who combines technical expertise with strong organizational and communication skills. Here’s how you can stand out:
- At least 5 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management.
 - Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Warehousing, or Engineering.
 - Fluent in English - excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
 - Willingness to travel to support sites across Europe.
 - Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
 - Strong organizational skills and accountability.
 - A true team player, comfortable working in an international environment.
 - High level of autonomy, proactive thinking, and ability to anticipate challenges.
 - Ability to multitask, maintain accuracy, and balance detailed work with a strategic “helicopter view”.
 - Knowledge of ERP systems and information systems landscape.
 - Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPivot, and Power BI.
 - Experience with data analytics and Business Intelligence tools.
 - AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
