Purpose
As Business Process Engineer you will act as a strategic partner in driving process excellence and aligning operations with organizational goals. You will be focusing on analyzing current workflows, designing optimized future-state processes and ensuring their alignment with business strategy.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will facilitate workshops, build clear and structured process maps, and ensure documentation and ownership of key processes across departments. Your responsibilities will include promoting the adoption of best practices, defining measurable KPIs and leveraging digital tools - preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem - for automation, monitoring and performance reporting.
How can you help us?
Playing a key role driving process clarity, efficiency and strategic alignment across the organization. You support Operational Excellence initiatives by ensuring that business processes are understood, documented and continuously improved:
- Organize and facilitate collaborative workshops with cross-functional teams to map processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Document and standardize processes and workflows using recognized methodologies (Turtle Diagram, Swimlane Diagram, SIPOC, RASCI) and ensure their regular updates.
- Align processes with strategic objectives: translate the vision into concrete actions and support departments in defining their performance indicators.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose pragmatic, measurable solutions.
- Promote a performance-driven culture and support the adoption of best practices.
- Leverage digital tools to model, share, and manage process documentation, ensuring integration with other systems (ERP, quality tools, etc.).
- Design educational materials and lead sessions to disseminate best practices and strengthen the culture of continuous improvement.
Are you a match?
- Master’s degree in industrial engineering, business process management, operations, supply chain, business control or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement, business transformation or operational excellence roles, managing improvement projects, performance tracking and overseeing change initiatives.
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops and working with cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to SAP or equivalent enterprise system implementations is a must.
- Fluent in English
You have solid expertise in process modeling methodologies (such as Swimlane, VSM, SIPOC, BPMN, and Crosby Diagram), combined with strong skills in data analysis, root cause analysis and requirements gathering. You’re experienced in using process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS, Signavio) and Microsoft Power Platform for data visualization (Power BI) and automation (Power Apps, Power Automate). Your ability to drive change management - including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption monitoring - will be key to your success.
