Purpose
You will be overseeing the Corporate FPA Team across EMEA. Your responsibilities are crucial in directing the Corporate financial planning and analysis (FPA) function, including leading the development of capabilities and structures to support Medline's business. Additionally, you will play a key role in expanding the corporate FPA function by leading strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and company management reporting processes. You will be the Corporate FP&A EMEA. encompassing all divisions and product categories
How can you help us?
Manage and develop Medline EMEA Corporate financial planning and analysis (FPA) function and team, focusing on developing capabilities and structures to support Medline's operations in EMEA businesses.
Taking charge of strategic planning processes, as well as budgeting, forecasting, and company management reporting processes.
Lead the Corporate FPA team and support the newly formed VP Transformation role supporting HR, IT, PMO, ESG and Commercial Excellence leaders
Prepare business case for the implementation of a new FP&A tool
Transform company management reporting to drive enhanced data based decision making process
Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for the company, conducting detailed comparisons of key performance indicators (KPIs) against actual performance.
Manage Corporate FPA teams to deliver insightful, data-driven analytics to business stakeholders.
Develop monthly reporting packs for regional and division executives.
Implement and manage changes resulting from Oracle reporting structures.
Drive improved profitability through analytics and operational relationships.
Analyze financial results, trends, and metrics on a monthly basis, communicating key drivers for the full financial profit and loss statement.

Develop region-specific forecasts in coordination with corporate teams and business leaders.
Integrate global best-practice processes, analytics tools, and ways of working.
Drive project controlling, benefits tracking and capex review processes. Prepare detailed analyses to support major investment initiatives.
Liaise with corporate FPA team to align management discussion and analysis, performance and overall company plan and forecast.
Support business partners in ad hoc projects, support new business initiatives, system integrations, and other major change management impacting finance teams.
Perform ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and provide decision support for future business planning decisions and investments, including, but not limited to contract and pricing modeling, investment analysis, mergers and acquisitions (M&As) deal modeling.
Collaborate with corporate FPA teams in the US, accounting team, and country controllers to ensure consistency with the overall finance framework.
Collaborate with corporate M&A team by building deal acquisition models.
Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.

Are you a match?
Education in finance or accounting
At least eight years of progressive experience in finance, with strong financial planning, reporting and analysis expertise
At least five years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to senior P&L/business owners
Experience in leading strategic decision-making and goal-setting initiatives as well as profit improvement initiatives
Demonstrated experience in directly managing people or a proven ability to teach, mentor and indirectly influence others
Willingness to travel for business purposes, mainly within Europe, and on some occasions to Asia and the USA
To succeed in the role, you need a proven track record leading FP&A tool implementation, expert‑level financial modelling and mastery of Excel plus ERP/analytics (Power BI, SQL, Alteryx). Healthcare/MedTech fluency would be beneficial, to translate complexity into executive‑ready insights, challenge constructively and steer EMEA‑wide decisions.
