Location: the role can be based in Utrecht (NL), Warrington (UK) or Saint Quentin en Yvelines (FR)
Purpose
As Senior Manager Pricing, you will be responsible for leading the EMEA strategic pricing organization, driving a culture of initiative-taking business partnering with the sales, customer services and finance organizations, and ensuring strong analytical, pricing, contract and tender management performance to support long‑term commercial objectives.
You oversee customer pricing strategy, contract master repository administration, RFP/RFI pricing processes optimization, price governance and the development of analytical tools that drive price optimization.
How can you help us?
Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high‑performing team of strategic pricing analysts, fostering motivation, capability development and continuous improvement. Provide candid, timely performance feedback and address performance issues promptly.
Strategic & Commercial Partnering: Act as a trusted business partner to sales, commercial and finance leadership to support price strategy and commercial goals. Participate in pricing discussions with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
Pricing Strategy & Execution: Analyze, develop, recommend and implement customer pricing and tender pricing strategies. Ensure consistent and effective application of pricing policies and guidelines. Review and support pricing requests using sound business judgment and policy compliance.
RFP / RFI & Contract Management: Establish rigorous processes for RFP / RFI pricing response management. Manage RFP / Tender pricing including maintenance, pricing accuracy, updates and communications.
Tools, Reporting & Analytics: Develop robust analytical tools, reports and dashboards to analyze strategic pricing performance. Track and report on pending, active and closed opportunities in the CRM pipeline. Maintain strong product‑line technical expertise and ensure accurate strategic price benefit realization tracking.
Training & Collaboration: Provide training to field teams and internal stakeholders to optimize strategic pricing guidance, execution and performance. Collaborate effectively with internal teams at all levels.
Are you a match?
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, coupled with extensive strategic pricing experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercially based strategic pricing: analyzing pricing data, trends, exceptions and opportunities
Minimum 3+ years supervisory/management experience required (incl. hiring, motivating and developing staff)
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite required, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large data sets.
Proficiency in English, any another major European language is a plus
