IT Support Technician (Desktop & Network Support) - Level Entry
Role reports to: Manager Technology Support
Location: Madrid
Contract: Permanent
Purpose
Provide support to the Desktop team by resolving network, connectivity, and telecommunications issues as they arise. The role will cover all European countries within the Helpdesk, responding to tickets submitted by Medline employees.
How can you help us?
Provide first-line IT support for end-user environments, including network, connectivity, and telecommunications issues
Deliver remote support to Medline users across European locations
Manage and prioritize tickets in the helpdesk system, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution
Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure network and application stability
Configure and maintain IT equipment and telecommunication systems
Support on boarding, off boarding, and change management processes
Keep users and stakeholders informed on critical incidents
Recover data and ensure system continuity when needed
Guide and support users in the effective use of IT applications
Liaise with external vendors to resolve hardware and software issues
Ensure proper documentation in line with internal processes and compliance requirements
Stay up to date with new technologies and systems
Are you our match
IT Education or equivalent experience (1-2 years)
Basic experience in troubleshooting in a Windows environment
Basic experience in troubleshooting PC hardware issues (i.e. Monitors, Printers, Hard drives), as well as a basic understanding of Networking
Microsoft or other technical certifications, or experience in a Microsoft Windows environment are preferred
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Good written and verbal communication skills
Languages: Spanish and English (fluently)
