Purpose
Medline Industries has an immediate opening for a Junior/Associate Product Manager within, but not limited to our Personal Care division. This role will be based at our EU Headquarter office in our Utrecht, Netherlands location and will work a hybrid model. Under general supervision, manage the full product lifecycle including the sourcing, marketing, new product development, sales support and financial growth of assigned products. Work with and train sales force to be able to confidently sell products to customers and generate Market Growth.
How can you help us?
Participate in the expansion of the product portfolio the launch of new products being an actor in the development and the design of the products and solutions.
Conduct market research and identify and track market trends that affect sales, service and product development. Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvement, and potential new products. Identify trends with requests and information via interactions with sales to determine market needs and potential innovations.
Develops appropriate training programs, design marketing materials and tactical promotional tools for the sales team in order to drive sales of the product portfolio.
Provides sales team support including field support to increase market, customer, competitive knowledge and develop sound judgement related to the product usage and its direct and indirect environment.
Track sales forecast targets. Record activity on accounts and help prepare for tenders to meet these targets.
Provide updates on key accounts closes, implementation dates and CRM revenues Tracings.
Be the technical/product expert within the organization to contribute to the development of technical presentations and product strategy. Demonstrate industry knowledge on the current practices, research, and professional norms for specific markets and specializations.
Support analysis and communication on products backorder/surplus reports and forecasting to maintain service levels and identify concerning changes in demand
Are you a match?
Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing (Master degree preferred).
At least 2 to 3 years of product management or marketing experience in Health Care or pharmaceutical industries.
Demonstrated ability to execute sales marketing strategies and tactics.
Ability to build In depth knowledge of products, customers and market needs.
Ability to analyze market trends to effectively develop presentations, provide recommendations and business forecasting.
Demonstrated ability working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
Demonstrated time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within, and external stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).
Position generally requires travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within Europe).
Entrepreneurial, as well as customer oriented mindsets.
Good presentation and communication skills – ability to articulate ideas and support them with sound arguments
Good analytical skillset to evaluate market, competitive, customer, internal insights
Fluent in English – an additional European language is a plus
